He is predeceased by two brothers Clifford (Butch) and Norman; a sister Eunice Ely; two wives and longtime companion Wilma J. McIver.

He leaves to cherish his loving memory stepdaughter Michele (Allen) Keyes (Thomas); three granddaughters Shanique Mercado, Jasmine Daye and JaNae Keyes; stepson Sylvester Allen (Lisa); close family members Louis (Buddy) Cappie, Marvin Daye, Mary Daye and Willie Gill, his stepson Carl Brandimarte (Sharon); two granddaughters Amy Allfrey (Chris) and Jessica Taylor (Chris) and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews as well as other loving family and friends.

The family would like to Thank everyone for their well wishes and companionship to Earl Reed Sr. over the years.  Sadly to say, the Lord called him home on Monday June 18, 2018.  We lost a Father, Grandfather, Army Veteran, Former Fireman and most of all a Good Friend.  Please join us in  a Celebration of his life.
