Elizabeth Jean Brown, 82 of Long Branch went home to be with the Lord on February 17, 2018 after a brief illness. She was born in Long Branch, NJ on February 11, 1936 to the late Isabelle and Elder Roger Brown.
She was a lifelong resident of the shore and attended Long Branch schools. Elizabeth was a faithful member of McLaughlin Pentecostal Faith for many years.
Elizabeth and her husband, the late James Harmon, Sr. had 7 children from their union, Jimmy, Monica, Tyrone, Darlene, Darin, Candace and Royce. She was a foster mother to children and adults with challenges.
Elizabeth was predeceased by her parents, brother Timothy and sisters Isabelle and Rosemary. She leaves to mourn her passing sisters Miriam and Lisa; her children, more than 40 grandchildren and great-grandchildren as well as a host of extended family and friends.
Her legacy is long-reaching and long-living. She will truly be missed by all she's touched.
"I fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Henceforth there is laid up for me the crown of rightousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, will award to me on that Day, and not only to me but also to all who have loved his appearing." 2 Timothy 4:7-8
