Miriam Krieger, " a woman of kindness," was born September 15, 1945 to her parents Leon Krieger and Jean Krieger.  She migrated from the Republic of Lithuania which is an old country of Russia.  The family then came to Brooklyn, New York where she attended school.  She also attended the Juilliard School of Arts where she learned to play the piano and write music.  She was a talented woman who played at various places.  Sometime later in life the family moved to Pennsylvania, Long Island, NY and Boston, MA. At an early age in Pennsylvania, Miriam attended Colfax Hebrew school.  There she was in the annual Chanukah program.

In the 1980's Miriam moved to Long Branch, NJ.  She played at various churches including Second Baptist Church in Long Branch as well as St. Luke's Church on Broadway in Long Branch.  She started a restaurant called "Jimmy Lou's" which was located on Joline Ave. in Long Branch.  Miriam was a very humble woman who had the kindest heart.  No matter what anyone said or did to her she would reply "Everybody has problems.

Miriam is survived by her Godson Shelton Umar Weatherbe and God daughter Rebecca Skowronski and other family and friends.
