Raymond Joseph Fountain was born on Wednesday, October 13, 1971 to Raymond & Minnie Fountain. He was reared in Cliffwood, New Jersey. He was really into sports and loved playing baseball. He was even on the travel all-stars before high school. He graduated from Matawan Aberdeen Regional High School in 1991 and went to Brookdale Community College for Business Administration.

Raymond had a number of jobs before settling into a career in the department of corrections as an Institute Trade Instructor (ITI) in 2001 and later advanced his career with multiple promotions. He was great at his job and was loved and respected by the inmates, his coworkers, supervisors, and administration. Raymond took a lot of pride in his job and was eager to soon retire after 25 years of employment.

In 1995, Raymond was blessed with his daughter Cashmir Nicole Fountain. She was his pride & joy, and in 2014 Raymond was excited to have her move to NJ. They were inseparable ever since. They would go on daddy daughter dates and spend time lots of time together.

Raymond was affectionately known as Ray, RJ, Pop and Fountain by all of those that loved him. He was such a great storyteller and really enjoyed making people laugh. He loved to cook and grill, especially during football season when he would host Sunday Night Football at his house. Raymond was a lover of sports and a die-hard fan of the Dallas Cowboys, Atlanta Braves, Miami Hurricanes and LA Lakers. He enjoyed golfing, shopping, watching television and spending time with family and friends. Raymond was half of the well-known RayMack Entertainment who threw various events, boat rides, bus rides, parties and more!

Raymond was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Anna Mae Jordan & Joseph Causby and paternal grandparents Collen Fountain & Joseph Fountain.
