Bob's work here was completed on June 17, 2024, he finally left his beloved home in Fair Haven after 72 years.
He received a call for an offer he couldn't refuse, for an appointment from which he will not be returning. The offer has bonuses that allow this appointment to reunite him with family and friends he has not seen in some time.
He was greeted by his parents, Robert & Bessie Hall, daughter Jamie, cousin Harry "O," along with aunts, uncles, cousins, in-laws and friends, once he transitioned. He'll be able again to enjoy throwing "shoes," playing bid whiz or pinochle, fishing on his boat, burning music and movie CDs, listening to the Whispers, Luther, and the Isley Brothers, watching James Bond, Colombo or Star Trek reruns & eating Twizzlers.
While he left no detailed instructions for his wife, and. sons, on what to do with the large collection of "stuff" that he needed to accumulate due to his general resourcefulness, of construction, mechanical and computer knowledge, they know those needs filled his heart, mind and the entire basement.
While he worked hard at Verizon for 33 years in the telecommunication industry, he played just as hard, bowling, playing softball, basketball, skiing, coaching his son's sports teams, karate, playing cards, fishing the Navesink and the bay and throwing "shoes."
With great sorrow and bittersweet gratitude, his life, which is now completed, will be celebrated by those he has left behind and he will forever watch over. His wife, Debbé; his sons, Jason Sr. and Jared (Cassandra); his grandsons, his pride and joys, Jason Jr, Chase and Jeremiah; His beloved sisters, Barbara and Brenda (Roger); his goddaughter Renée, along with in-laws, nephews, nieces, cousins and friends. All will hold him close within their hearts, minds and their spirits. They know he is at peace.
In celebration of his life, his family and friends want him to know they know that he fought a miraculous fight, long and hard. They wished him a safe journey in his transition. We will all remember his smile, his laughter, his sense of humor, his love of sports, his integrity, his calm and logical demeanor, and his love of life, family & friends.
With love in our hearts, we release him into the arms of heaven.
Sorry to hear about Bobby. I haven’t seen him since the late 70’s when we both sat at a red light and I believe he had a green Corvette. I met him when his mother, Bessie, babysat my sister and me. What a polite gentleman who I’m sure will be missed.

Dear Hall Family: I am saddened to learn of Bob’s passing. I fondly remember our times coaching youth sports together. He was a very good man. I offer your family my solace and sympathy over this profound loss. Rick Zakreski
