Roxanne Davis Ismail, 49 of Long Branch,  passed away on September 7, 2016, surrounded by her loving family at Monmouth Medical Center.  She was born on July 21, 1967 to Virginia Daniels and Robert Jones at Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch, NJ.

Roxanne grew up in Long Branch and attended the Long Branch public school system.  She graduated and received her high school diploma with the Class of 1985.  Roxanne enjoyed sports - basketball, football and baseball were her favorites.  Roxanne's love of basketball allowed her to be an awesome player for the Long Branch High School girls team.  Roxanne also was able to play basketball with many of her life long friends.  She was able to hold her own with many male players as well.  She attended Rowan University.

Roxanne was an active member of Pilgrim Baptist Church where she was involved in several church activities.

Roxanne was a long tenured employee of Jersey Central Power & Light (First Energy).  She also loved spending time with her family laughing and enjoying their company.
