OBITUARY
SERVICE DETAILS
Vanessa Margaret Robinson went home to be with the Lord on June 14, 2018. Vanessa was born in Long Branch, NJ to Lorraine Phillips and Nelson Robinson. She was the oldest of two girls. Years later she moved to Philadelphia where her and her sister Unice were educated in the public school system.
In 1976 Vanessa joined the military. She earned several awards and recognition for being outstanding in leadership and achievements from her commanding officers. After serving 4 years, Vanessa went on to various schools.
There was nothing Vanessa wouldn't try to do. She did Uber, tracker trailer, retail, factory work and real estate. One might say she was a Jack of All trades and master at non. But one thing Vanessa did master was the Bible. She went to various schools where she earned a license to preach and teach. She was a student of the Bible and she even studied at the Synagogue. That was her truly driven passion. Her love for the Lord.
Vanessa was predeceased by her mother Lorraine Phillips and father Nelson Robinson.
She leaves to cherish her memories her sister Unice Robinson, Augusta, GA; brothers Gilbert Robinson (Becky) and Wilbert Robinson both of Atlanta, GA; niece Bianca Robinson, Atlanta, GA; nephews Lashawn Robinson (Afghanistan) and Quentin Robinson of Atlanta, GA; an aunt Lojay (Gaston) Williams and a special friend Angelo (Doc); three special cousins Donna, Ann and Margaret; her church family as well as many cousins and friends.
