Doris Ann Smith Harvey 69 of Red Bank, NJ passed away peacefully on Sunday October 11, 2026 surrounded by her loving family.
Born on October 26, 1956, Doris was a lifelong resident of Red Bank, NJ, a place she proudly called home throughout her life. She attended the Red Bank school system and graduated in 1975.
Doris worked for many years as a nurse’s aide and then became the resident cares coordinator at Meridian rehab and nursing facility. She also had many jobs taking care of the elderly throughout her life, which was her passion.
She was a caring, kindhearted, and compassionate woman who was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Helping others was simply a part of who she was. She had a special way of showing love through her actions, and she never hesitated to be there for someone in need. She was affectionately known as Aunt Doris to everyone who loved her.
She was predeceased by her mother and father Francis and Robert Smith, one sister Ruth Smith and a son-in-law Guy Davis.
She leaves to cherish her loving memories her devoted husband Donald R. Harvey of 35 years; her sons Tujuane and Erron Smith; daughter Latoya Smith; two stepchildren Donna and Donney Brown; her twin brothers Robert (Mariza) Smith and Ronald (Joyce) Smith; her grandchildren Danayasia Riley, Suncere Smith, Nyasia Smith and Guydai Davis.
Her family was truly the light of her life. She found her greatest joy in the moments spent together, the memories they created, and the love they shared. Her warmth, kindness and unconditional love will live on in the hearts of her family forever.
