Lawerence “Fenster” Roach, 42, passed away on July 13, 2025, in Red Bank, New Jersey. Born on May 25, 1983, in Long Branch, New Jersey, Lawerence brought vibrant energy and unmistakable presence to every room he entered.

A proud student of Long Branch High School, Fenster was known in his youth as the “unofficial mayor of Long Branch” a title earned through his magnetic personality and deep-rooted connections within the community. His quick wit and signature sarcasm made him unforgettable to those who knew him—he was always ready with a joke or playful jab that left everyone laughing.

Fenster had a passion for life’s simple pleasures. A true foodie at heart, he never missed an opportunity to savor good meals. He was also a devoted sports enthusiast who could talk stats and teams for hours. His love for collecting Jordans and jerseys reflected not only his appreciation for style but also his deep connection to sports culture. And when it came to dice games, few could rival him—he proudly held the title of the best dice player among friends and family.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Annabelle and Horace Roach; paternal grandmother Lucy Stovall; father Larry Stovall; aunts Mary Rose Roach-Curry, Betty Lou Stovall, Yvonne Stovall, LaVern Cobbs, and many other cherished aunts and uncles.

He is lovingly remembered by his mother Judy Roach and stepfather Brian Sharkey; his sisters Tiera Roach (Walter Queen), Toni Roach-Cardella, and Sabrina Stovall; nieces and nephews Daylen Queen, Kylie Queen, Jeremiah Queen, Isabella Queen, Isaiah Buffaloe, Ava Buffaloe, Michael “Dude” Buffaloe, Chace Buffaloe, Malia Stovall Lopez, and Shine Schenck; aunts Brencee Roach and Lana Dean; favorite cousin Lola Stovall, who helped care for him in his final days; and a host of other beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family members.

Fenster’s legacy lives on in the laughter he inspired and the memories he created with those fortunate enough to know him. May his memory bring comfort to all who carry him in their hearts.
