Jean Willis 87, a beloved aunt and friend entered into eternal glory on July 29, 2025, at Specialty Hospital of Central Jersey located in Lakewood, NJ after a brief illness.
Born on September 27, 1937, in Long Branch, NJ, Jean was the cherished daughter of the late Jess Willis and Grace Johnson Willis Smith. Jean spent her formative years in New Jersey where she built a rich and fulfilling life.
She is predeceased by her loving parents Jess and Grace Willis, brothers Harry Willis and Walter Willis (Sonny Boy) and sisters MaryAnn Silva and Grace Seward (Lou).
Jean was a dedicated and hardworking individual, who worked at Boscov’s as a retail clerk for many years. She enjoyed drawing, painting and being with friends. Jean also was an avid bowler. Whomever met Jean, could honestly say that they encountered a one of a kind beautiful woman with a smile that would take your breath away. Her eyes said it all, total sincerity! Jean loved being with her family. She especially loved her adopted family, who cared for in her final years. She will truly be missed! Jean leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion as well as a host of relatives and friends.
