SERVICE DETAILS
Albert Lee Daniels, known affectionally as Pop-Pop was the son of the late Randolph and Clara Daniels. Albert was born in Long Ranch, N.J. on January 26, 1936. He enters into God eternal rest on Friday, October 10th, 2025 at the age of 89.
Albert attended Red Bank Public Schools and was a graduate of Red Bank High School. He worked as a laborer and floor maintenance technician at various places including Brookdale Community College, Roots and Kinkles until his retirement. He was baptized and a long time member of Calvary Baptist Church in Red Bank, New Jersey.
Albert was also a longtime active member of Bates Lodge #220 where he was past Exalted Grand Ruler. He earned the title of “uncle king of Facebook” for his daily encouraging and often hilarious Facebook posts. He would greet each of his loved ones with “great day, peace and love.”
Albert enjoyed rooting for the Giants and the Mets. His hobbies also included going to Monmouth Park Racetrack. He was also known to enjoy vanilla Hagen Daz ice cream and seafood. Red Lobster was his favorite restaurant.
Albert is predeceased by his daughter, Clara Daniels, grandson Jasen Daniels, siblings Randolph, Willie, James, Bernard, Minnie, Melody, Sarah and Beatrice. Also, Frances Daniels, the mother of their seven (7) daughters.
Albert leaves to mourn his memory six (6) daughters, Melody A. Daniels, Carmen L Wallace (David), Cheri M. Jones, Jacqueline L. Daniels, Anita L. Daniels and Holly N. Daniels, two (2) brothers, Frederick Daniels (Edna), and Abe Daniels (Pam). He has fifteen (15) grandchildren, twenty-five (25) great, grandchildren, four (4) great, great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
If Albert were here with us today, he would remind us that “it is nice to be important, but it is more important to be nice.”
