Ira Lawrence Robinson was one of a kind. He was born July 28th, 1974 in Matawan, NJ. He spent many years bringing smiles to those around him and making his presence one that was grand and never forgotten. Ira enlisted in the army in 2000, serving his country and creating lasting memories as a tanker.
His life encompassed by his wife and kids created a sense of joy and fulfillment for him as the years progressed. His loved ones will remember him as a strong man, never afraid to speak his mind and always made sure everyone knew just how much he loved them. After many years of selflessly taking care of his father, Ira was diagnosed with stage 4 gallbladder cancer that spread to his lungs and liver. Though he fought hard and never wavered on the man he was; his fight ended on June 24th, 2026 at 2:39 AM. In his last moments he was surrounded by those he truly loved, his wife and their eight kids. In his last moments it was important to know that his heart was strong and continued to fight. His heart wanted to be here and it always will be through the many people whose lives he impacted.
He will be remembered by his wife (Yvette), nine kids (Karissa, Kira, Kiaira, Ira II, Isaiah, Immanuel, Kimoira, Ka’Mira, and Alex), four grandchildren (Kai, Kaiden, Kamden, and Jahan), and the many others who had the pleasure of knowing him.
