Abdur-Farbi Muhammad (James Younger), age 56 departed this life on September 22, 2019 at Jersey Shore University Medical Center. His last hours were sent with his loving family.
Farbi was born on December 17, 1962 at Monmouth Medical Center, to the late Myrtle Ann Younger-Johnson and Dutchee Grant.
He was affectionately known to everyone as Farbi. He attended the Long Branch School System and loved working as a handyman, he was a "Jack of all Trades."
Farbi, truly lived life to the fullest by simple pleasures such as laughing and joking with family and friends. He enjoyed spending time with his nieces and nephews. Jimmy as we also called him had a great abilty to reach people in a deep positive way. In the 1980's he joined the Nation of Islam and legally changed his name to Abdur-Farbi Muhammad.
He was predeceased by his mother Myrtle Ann Younger-Johnson, his grandmother Elizabeth Ann Younger and his niece Taliyah Elizabeth Younger.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his father Dutchee Grant; siblings Teresa Younger, Tomasina Johnson-Battle (Ivory Battle), Francia Younger; 3 nieces Lashay, Shakoora and Khadijah Younger; 2 nephews Tyresse and Fuquan Younger; 4 great nieces; 2 great nephews; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, family and friends. As well as a very special cousin who was like a brother Larry Stovall.
