Barbara Brown, 72 of Asbury Park, NJ was called home to be with her Lord and Savior on August 15, 2020 after a long illness. Barbara was born and raised in Jamestown, SC, she later moved to Asbury Park where she married Jesse Brown. From this union their daughter Tina was born. Barbara will be missed for her smile, laughter and willingness to help anyone who needed her.
Barbara was predeceased by her husband Jesse Brown, parents Oneal and Bernice Hawkins and brother Roscoe Hawkins.
She is survived by her daughter Tina Brown, stepson Calvin Brown (Glenda); siblings Alma Hawkins, Jonether Proilean (Raymond), Jacqueline Hawkins, Lucy Golden and Bernard Hawkins (Brenda); special nieces Chantal Hawkins and Joyce Jefferson; numerous nieces and nephews as well as many friends and other family who will miss her.
