Mr. Calvin Dale Gardner was born in Dallas, Texas in 1955. On his journey of life, he met Marcella Dupree and they formed a family of three children, Daleshon, Sheritta and Shayla. Calvin and Marcella began their long life together for over 30 years.
Calvin worked at Anchor Concrete in Brick, NJ as a Pallet Machine Operator. Calvin was a true Dallas Cowboys fan without a doubt! Calvin was a devoted diligent member of St. Stephens Church. He shared his love of God with so many people. His act of love and kindness will never go without mention.
Calvin was proud of the Dinner and a Movie program held at the church and he was an honorary member of the W.H. & O. M Society, he was a trusted board member and a part of the mentoring security ministry, F.M. O. Men Ministry and he sang in the church choirs. He was also a part of the Asbury Park Community Action Network. Calvin will never be forgotten and will remain faithful to his heavenly father.
Calvin is predeceased by his father Frank Coleman, grandparents Jerry Wright and Arizona America Wright, brothers William Harrison Adkins, Johnny Adkins and sister Valerie Marie Adkins.
He leaves behind to mourn his mother Nandada Adkins; siblings Roscoe Wade Adkins, Anthony Glen Adkins, Mark Adkins, Diana Sanders, Tina Adkins Barnes and Marilyn Williams; in-laws Robin, Doretha, Linda, Cheryl and Charles; mother of children Marcella Dupree; mother of child Linda Coleman; children Daleshon Dupree, Sheritta Dupree, Shayla Dupree and Tamara Coleman; daughter-in-law Savitri Rawls; grandchildren Syrion, Asante, Daleyah, Nevaeh Dupree and Trevonne Judson.
