Claudette “Missy” Perry was born on March 2, 1967 at Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch, NJ. She departed this life on May 22, 2023 at home peacefully surrounded by her family.
Missy was a resident of Red Bank, NJ until she relocated to Long Branch. She attended the Red Bank Public School System.
Missy loved spending time with her family and traveling. She loved “I Love Lucy” and would spend endless hours watching the old episodes. She was an avid collector of “I Love Lucy” Memorabilia and had acquired quite the collection. She was an honest take it or leave it kind of person.
She is predeceased by her mother Arlene V. Perry and her father Wesley Hughes.
She leaves to cherish her memories her husband Clarence D. Spinks Sr., Long Branch; her daughter Quiyana A. Perry, Long Branch; her sons Clarence D. Spinks Jr. (Sonia), Parlin, NJ and Tyree Spinks, Long Branch, NJ; her sisters Irene Perry and Tiffany Perry both of Long Branch; her brothers Charles Perry, Asbury Park and Wayne Perry, Long Branch; her grandchildren JaQwez Latimore, Long Branch, Sade McClaren, Amani Spinks, Quiyana Spinks, Zira Spinks, Parlin, Je’ree Spinks and Je’Kari Spinks, Long Branch; maternal aunt Edna Reed, Long Branch; paternal aunt Hazel Davis, Red Bank; “bonus” son Emanuel Adekunle; two special cousins Lou and Crystal; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
Missy will surely be missed by all.
