INTERMENT
Private

Craig Dallas Walker departed this earth on July 5, 2024. He was affectionally known to family and friends as “Bill” or “Billly.” He was born to Connie Walker at Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch, NJ on February 24, 1961. At an early age Bill developed a passion for working with horses at Monmouth Park in Oceanport, NJ and continued working with different racetracks up and down the east coast from Saratoga, NY to Hialeah, FL and so many in between.

Upon his graduation from Long Branch High School, he joined the Marines where he traveled to different parts of the world including Germany and Japan. When he got out of the Marines he attended Jersey City State College in Jersey City, NJ. There he met Theresa Gill, who years later became his wife, and they had a son Craig D. Gill-Walker. Through time he became a Certified CNA and while living and working in Virginia he helped take care of his mother-in- law until her passing. He continued to work as a CNA until his health declined.

He was an avid lover of golf, westerns, and the Hallmark Channel. He especially loved a good game of spades and cooking out on the grill with a good beer! He will be missed by his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother Connie Walker, grandmother Vyetta Walker, aunt Cathrey Denise Walker, and sister Shelia Walker.

He is survived by his wife Theresa Gill-Walker; son Craig D Gill-Walker; sisters Jeanndra Walker and Arnissa Walker-Logan; brother Terrance((Amie)) Walker; uncle Spike Walker; aunts Sharon Walker, Dulce Hill and Earache Walker and a host of cousins, nieces and nephews; Special Acknowledgement cousin Brian (Speedy) Walker, the Mayo Family especially Wesley Mayo Sr. and the now deceased Brenda (Bunny) Mayo. Bill loved all of his family and he will be missed.
