It is with profound sadness that the family of Davon Leon Jackson Sr. announce his peaceful passing on February 22, 2024, at the age of 41 years old. Davon was born September 23, 1982, in Long Branch, NJ. He was the son of Rochette Scott and David Guthridge. Davon spent most of his adulthood in Cliffwood and Keansburg, NJ and lastly resided in Keyport, NJ. Known as (smoke) to those who truly knew him he was someone who always kept a smile on his face and a joke that would keep you laughing.
He was a proud father who loved his one and only son Davon Leon Jackson Jr. dearly. He was a loving son, father, nephew, cousin, and friend to so many and will forever be missed by those who loved him.
He is predeceased by his grandparents Richard Edwards Sr. and James Guthridge Sr., aunts Deidra Edwards and Denise Cranshaw.
Davon leaves behind to cherish his memories his parents Rochette Scott and David Guthridge; son Davon Jackson Jr. and Tammy Bedell; grandmothers Kathy Jackson and Cynthia Cranshaw; aunts Leslie Edwards and a cousin who meant just as much Tanya Brown; uncles Richard Edwards Jr., Eric Jackson and James Guthridge as well as a host of cousins, friends and a special friend dear to his heart Mary Tanis.
