Deborah Ann Smith was born July 12, 1951 in Delaware (Lewes) to Ruth and Ledrew Smith. She soon came to live in New Jersey where she worked many years for the Jet Dry Cleaners and Ocean Place in Long Branch.
Deborah was a grandma or Aunt Ann to all who knew her. She was a very fun-loving person who loved her grandkids. She was one of a kind and also a cooking sister. If you ever had a plate from her you knew she fed your soul. If she wasn't with the love of her life Eddie, she was always with what we call the "Golden Girls" Louise, Alice and Ann or her cousin Debbie who were two peas in a pod as well!
On May 1, 2020 God called her home for her work here on earth was done.
Deborah was predeceased by her parents Ruth and Ledrew, sister Barbara, daughter Wendy Williams and granddaughter Shanika Williams.
She leaves behind her long-time love of 25 years Eddie Thomas; son Harry "Eric" Smith; daughter Stephanie Smith; brother Ira; grandchildren Lamont Williams, Tasha Pacheco, Lavar Richardson, Ivy Wheeler, Jayden Smith, Lateef Reevey; great-grandchildren Ju'elz Lee, R'rhiana Williams, Khyllii Boyd, Mia'Lee Williams and Unahti Williams; a niece Domiqua (Talkie Box) that she always babysat as well as a host of other family and friends.
