Hattie Juanita Walton 78, departed this life on August 23, 2021. She was born June 27, 1943 to the late Mary Frances and Albert Walton Sr. She grew up in Castalia, North Carolina and graduated from Nash Central High School, in Nashville, NC in 1961. In 1961, she moved to Red Bank, NJ.
Hattie was a member of Nash Central HS Alumni Association, NJ Chapter for many years. She was actively involved in her church, Calvary Baptist Church in Red Bank, NJ. Her favorite hobbies were sewing, cooking and making cakes for church members.
Hattie was predeceased by her mother and father, Mary Frances and Albert Walton, Sr., her brothers Albert Walton, Jr., Keith and Joseph Walton, sister Peggy Allgood.
She is lovingly remembered by her son, Terrence Christopher Walton (Rachel), her grandchildren Desmire Walton, Julian Van Hazinga, Chris Walton, Aireyonnah Walton, Khaliq Walton, Ambrose Richards, Asia Price, Corey Walton, Anja Walton and Karolina Walton. She is also remembered by her sisters Shirley Tutt, Long Branch, NJ, Paulette Crudup, Castalia, NC, her brothers Larry Walton, Red Bank, NJ, James Alston, Louisburg, NC, her sister-in-law Leonora Walton, Castalia, NC, her special son Scott Metzger and the entire Metzger family, special cousin John Young and a host of relatives and friends.
