Joan Lenora Christiansen was born in Newark New Jersey. Joan was married to her beloved husband Theodore Christiansen until 1982. They raised their 4 children in Oceanport, New Jersey. After her beloved husband’s death, she lived in Ocala FL and Moscow PA.
Joan’s passions were her family and traveling together. She spent her winters in Florida and her summers in the Poconos with her family. She loved to travel and the family spent many vacations in Williamsburg, Virginia and Shawnee, Pennsylvania.
Joan is survived by her 4 children, Kathy Miele, Debra Moyer and her husband Daryl Moyer, Kimberly Christiansen and Theodore Christiansen and his wife Julie Christiansen. Joan is also survived by 8 grandchildren Eric Miele, Christian Miele, Kendall Moyer Fiorvante, Mallory Moyer, Aubrey Moyer Degonzague, Blair Welsh, Alec Welsh and Grace Tyler Christiansen and 5 great grandchildren Theodore Miele, Gavin Miele, Alden Fiorvante, Jolene Degonzague and Jarrod Degonzague.
