Jonathan ‘Jon’ J. Turpin, 42, of Eatontown, New Jersey was born, June 1981 in Long Branch, New Jersey to Mark Turpin and the late Beverly A Turpin, passed away,
December 2023.
Jon attended and graduated from Long Branch Public Schools. Jon later, attended Monmouth County Vocational School for Electricity, working for local electricians and general contractors.
Though quiet and reserved by nature, Jon could hold his own in any conversation about sports and music!
One of Jon’s favorite pastimes was watching sports. Whether college or pros, if it was on, Jon was watching it. Jon too, had a passion for making music. Jon often made musical beats for himself and other musicians.
Jon was a well-loved and deeply cared for son, brother, nephew, and friend and will be remembered for his unique sense of humor and being helpful.
Left to mourn Jon’s passing are his adoring father, Mark Turpin (wife Rachel); brothers, Michael Ricks (wife Darlene) and Marc Ricks (girlfriend Lissette); nephews, Brandon and Christopher Ricks; niece, Chrisette Ricks; childhood friends, Symeon Brown, Kevin Sharrock, and Joe Wilson; and a host of aunts, great-aunts, uncles, a great-uncle, cousins, and family.
