Khiara “Khy Khy” (affectionately known) Marissa Evans, was born on June 10, 1996, in Red Bank, New Jersey to Michelle Postell and Kerry Evans.
Khiara transitioned from her earthly home on July 25, 2026 to her heavenly home surrounded by her loving family.
Khiara was educated in the Old Bridge Township School System K-12 and graduated in 2014. She attended Brookdale Community College in Lincroft New Jersey where she obtained her Dental Assistant License. She furthered her education, at the University of Arizona Global Campus online pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Administration.
Khiara was employed by Pro Smile NJ, working in various offices holding multiple positions over a span of 8 years.
Khiara started her spiritual walk at a very young age, at Wicker Memorial Baptist Church, under Pastor Arlene Thomas. She later, along with her family, moved their membership to Mt. Calvary Missionary Baptist Church, New Brunswick, New Jersey under Reverend R.L. Lumzy Sr. In 2025, Khiara joined, and was a faithful member of the Hutchinson Longstreet Baptist Church, Stilson, Georgia under the leadership of Bishop Richard D.M. Garvin.
Khiara is predeceased by her maternal grandparents, Deacon Eddie Postell Sr. and Deaconess Annabelle Postell, her paternal grandparents, Saul Evans and Eddie Mae Evans and her godmother, Linda Jean Coleman, Uncles Eddie Jr., Charles Edward Postell, cousins Eddie and Damon Postell.
She leaves to cherish her fondest memories, a loving daughter, Kailyn Evans, mother, Michelle Postell, Howell, NJ., sister Alyssia Lynae Bellamy Wolfson (Matthew), Howell, NJ., niece, Dinari Robinson and nephew, Aiden Wolfson, both of Howell, NJ, her loving and supportive companion Antoine Myers, Linden, NJ., her father, Kerry Evans, Asbury Park NJ; siblings, Candance, Baltimore, MD, Kerry Jr, Asbury Park NJ., Tyler, Taylor and Thalia Evans, Port St. Lucie FL. Three special sisters, Lindsay Gamble, Springfield, Ga., Shareeha Van, South Amboy, NJ., Shauntel Bellamy ,Sayreville NJ, two special best friends, Tiara Dansby ,Woodbridge NJ, Mark Alston, Woodbridge NJ, Godparents, Julie Land, Franklin Park, NJ Ted Land, Linden NJ, and Hollis Coleman, Springfield, NJ, one godsister, Tiara Land Woodbridge NJ, and two godbrothers, Terrell Land Ralieg, NC and Justin Postell, Port Wentworth GA, two great aunts, five godchildren, a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
