Leroy Dukes Jr., 62 of Long Branch, passed away Wednesday, May 27, 2020 at home. Leroy was born on August 6, 1957 in Albany, Georgia to the late Leroy Dukes Sr. and Martha D. Covin Dukes. Leroy was one of five children born to this union.
Leroy worked many jobs during his lifetime. He worked for Monmouth Rubber and Plastics and Wheelock both in Long Branch, NJ.
Leroy was predeceased by his father Leroy Dukes Sr. and one sister Ann Dukes.
He is survived by his mother Martha D. Covin Dukes; 3 brothers Wilburn Covin, Gregory Dukes and Charles T. Dukes Sr. Leroy is loved by a host of nieces, nephews, Kishona Pearson, Giovanna Newman and Lance Newman to name a few. Leroy will be greatly missed by his family, friends and those who loved him.

Leroy, just wanted to let you know that you will be missed. I just don't know what to say or think. You would want me to keep going on. I know that you are with our Heavenly Father. Know that you will be missed here on this earth! I will always think of you and that smile of yours. So, here's a big kiss and hug. I'm going to say good-bye. I shall see you again on the other side. Leroy, just be my angel and watch over me and our kids. I know that you will. I just don't know what to say or do. I know that you got me in your heart just like you are in mine.
