Mark Kaven Fairfax, 60, departed this earthly life on Tuesday, October 15, 2019 in Farmingdale, NJ. He was born on September 19, 1959 in Neptune, NJ. He was the son of Frank Albert Fairfax and Ethel Mae Fairfax (Monica Turner).
Mark grew up in Long Branch, NJ and later made Farmingdale his home. He was a graduate of Long Branch High School. He enlisted in the United State Army after high school and served for 4 years. Mark gave his life to the Lord at a very early age as a member of St. Peter Claver Catholic Church in Asbury Park. He served as a member for many years at the Church of God in Freehold. And, most recently became a member of the Spirit and Truth Fellowship in Sayreville, NJ.
He previously worked in Holmdel at Lucent Technologies and Bell Laboratories and also was a Union Rep; Max's Liquor Store in Freehold and Monmouth County Highway Department and Building Department where he also served as a Union Rep. until he became disabled.
Mark is predeceased by his parents and sister Kym Fairfax.
Surviving to mourn his loss but cherish his memory are his brother Craig Matthew Fairfax of Lakewood, NJ; sister Barbara Ann (Fairfax) West of Cliffwood, NJ; brother Eric (wife LaChay) Fairfax of Wake Forest, NC; aunt Alice Roberts of Shrewsbury, NJ; aunt and uncle James and Rosalee Jackson of Red Bank, NJ; uncle Robert Turner of Maryland and a special brother/best friend Hector Delgado and daughter Carly (Craig Daniels); nephew Eric Fairfax II and other family and friends.
