Paden Fitzgerald Cheeks was born on July 14, 1979 and passed away on May 30, 2023 at the age of 43 at home in Keansburg, NJ.
Paden was the only son of the late James E. and Netty “Carol” P. Cheeks. He was born in Long Branch, NJ and was raised in Red Bank and Tinton Falls, NJ. He attended the Red Bank Public elementary schools and Monmouth Regional H.S. He later attended Brookdale Community College.
Paden was an avid gamer and technology enthusiast. He enjoyed studying and discussing politics and he fervently believed that Jesus Christ was his Lord and Savior, and he frequently declared his belief publicly.
He is predeceased by his mother Netty “Carol” Paden Cheeks, his father James E. Cheeks, his sister Beverly Cheeks Rainey, his uncle Willie W. Paden II and his niece Carol “Kay Kay” Rainey.
Paden leaves behind, a nephew Milo Rainey Jr.; two nieces Melissa Rainey and Patricia Rainey; aunt Ann Paden and cousins Michelle P. Pizarro, Monique P. Hutchinson and Memone P. Crystian; and a host of grandnephews, nieces, cousins, other family members and friends.
