Ricky Orlando Silva passed away on September 8, 2022, in North Carolina. Ricky was born September 21, 1969 to the late Paul E. and Mary Ann Silva at Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch, NJ.  He attended Long Branch High School graduating in 1987.  Upon graduation he attended Trident Technical College in South Carolina.

Ricky resided in Long Branch, South Carolina and his most recent residence in Rocky Mount, North Carolina since 2016.  Ricky served the country in the US Army from 1989 until 1999 when he was honorably discharged. During his lifetime Ricky worked at Silva’s Flooring in Long Branch and was a maintenance director for the city of Charleston, South Carolina.

Ricky’s hobbies were shooting pool, baseball, crabbing, motorcycling and remodeling homes.  He was known for his love of old school music (he always had music playing no matter what), his laughter and smile; he was a very laid back and very humble person.

Ricky was predeceased by his parents and brother Antonio Jess Willis.

He leaves to cherish his memories his daughter Rhikya Silva, Long Branch; wife Isabel DaSilva, North Carolina; sisters Jean Clary Cook (Eugene), Virginia,  Toni Willis, Long Branch and Benita Metheo, Asbury Park; brothers Paul E. Willis (Tonya), South Carolina and  Brian Silva (Kim), Howell; stepsons David Bailote (Stayce), Mt. Laurel and Eric DaSilva, North Middletown; stepdaughter Natalie DaSilva, Jersey City; grandchildren Crystal, David (DJ), Ava and Novalie; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends; lifelong close friend of over 30 years Brenda Morales, Long Branch; dear friend Dedrick “Dee” Washington, North Carolina.
