We honor the life and legacy of Robert Bernard Bagley, Sr., who was born on May 3, 1937, in Kenbridge, Virginia, to the late Richard Bagley Sr. and Lena Maddox Bagley. Surrounded by his loving family, he peacefully departed this life on December 16, 2024, in Neptune, NJ.

The youngest of three children, Robert was a brother to the late Richard Bagley Jr. and Virginia Lee. He was predeceased by his parents, his brother, his sister, and two beloved grandsons.

He was a former member of First Union Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. George Huntley Sr. Robert dedicated over 35 years of his life working for Waste Management of New Jersey, retiring in 2005, leaving behind a legacy of hard work and unwavering commitment.

Robert brought joy and warmth to all who knew him. His charismatic charm, his radiant smile, enduring kindness, and remarkable strength touched hearts and created a legacy that will forever resonate in the lives of his family and friends.

With an ability to inspire, he embodied inner resilience and physical strength, offering loyalty, stability, and an unshakable foundation to his loved ones.

His love and devotion to his family were unparalleled, forming the cornerstone of the "Loving" Bagley Family, whose generations will continue to feel his influence and grace. On November 3, 1984, Robert married the love of his life, Marsha Brazile, and together they created a home filled with unconditional love, laughter, and generosity. Their hearts were so open that they welcomed numerous foster children into their home, extending their family with compassion and care.
