On Wednesday, November 1, 2023, Almighty God in His infinite wisdom, mercy, and grace, closed the eyes of our beloved Ronald Prichard and he entered into his eternal rest with the Lord.

Ronald Prichard, age 67, son of Arnersey Prichard Frazier was born on April 25, 1956, in Havelock, NC. He was the oldest of seven children. Ronald lived in Havelock, NC for the first nine years of his life. He then moved to Red Bank, NJ where he was educated in the Red Bank school system. After high school, Ronald served in the Army National Guard. He was employed by Riverview Hospital, Red Bank, NJ. At age 38, Ronald moved to Lakewood, NJ where he lived until his passing.

Later in life, Ronald accepted Christ. He became a faithful member of the New Life Christian Center located in Lakewood, NJ. He was devoted to the church and loved studying the Bible. He later became a deacon at the church. Ronald dedicated the remainder of his life serving the community he adored.

Ronald would express his joy of being part of the National Guard working for the United States of America. He often expressed his love for his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. He loved science fiction books, TV shows, and movies. Ronald also had a passion for music, muscle cars, and playing hours of chess. He was respected and feared by his opponents.

Ronald is preceded in death by his daughter, Tesha Lightsey.

Ronald’ s memories and love will be forever cherished by his sons Ronald (Lisa) Robinson and Curtis Lightsey; his daughter Tyshel Lightsey; grandchildren Zenobia, Tra’von, Da’zon, M’kaylah, Y’nyzaj, Ny’zir, Za’liya, J’Karius, Jordyn, Amaya, Gianna, Alvin, Jamar, Nathaniel, Maia, and Nadiya; sisters J. Reneé Gooding and Barbara Prichard; brothers Kenneth Prichard, Harvey White, Michael (Galetta) White, and George White, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Ronald will live on in our hearts forever and our memories will never fade away. “You were taken on angels wings, and we pray you are smiling and resting in heavenly paradise.”
