Ronnie Eric Womack departed this life on February 5, 2022. He was born on December 3rd, 1967, in Long Branch, NJ to the late Heddier Rebecca Womack and Tommie Johnson. He attended the Neptune High school system; he was a man who carried various jobs.
Ronnie enjoyed baking and spending time with his family. He was a loving dad, brother, uncle, cousin and a best friend to few. He always put family first, to love Ronnie was to know Ronnie. He was introduced to the Nation of Islam by his bonus brother Abdur-Farbi Muhammad during the 90’s. Ronnie was affectionally known to his Muslim family as “Ghafar.” Ronnie truly lived life to the fullest by simple pleasures such as, laughing and joking with family and friends. He enjoyed spending time with his nieces and nephews whom he adored. Ronnie was also known as his sister Tomasina’s keeper, he had her back in any and every situation, they shared a twin bond, even though they were not twins. Although he left us far too soon, we will all have fond memories of the time we spent with him. He was deeply loved by us all.
He was predeceased by his parents Heddier Rebecca Womack formerly of Asbury Park, NJ, and Tommie Johnson formerly of Long Branch, NJ, his grandmother Margret C Adams, his sister Tomasina Johnson- Battle, his bonus brother Abdu -Farbi Muhammad, brother-in-law Darren S. Thomas, his great nephews Rahmel Adams and Jermel Crawford.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving daughter Ronniesha Crenshaw; his sister Charlene Adams-Thomas Long Branch, NJ; his brothers Christopher (Shakemah) Womack Irvington, NJ, Marcus (Shaleea) Womack Roselle, NJ, Edward G. (Tammy) Walden lV, California; bonus sisters Teresa Younger and Franceia Younger; bonus brother Aeric Williams; his Aunt Edna Glover and Uncle John Womack; his nieces Keyona Corbett, Cherisse Adams, Kyeisah (Kurvan) Rankin, Simani Brown, Simaya Womack, Kyleea Womack, Miniya Womack, Mikayla Womack and Gia Walden; his nephews Marcus Womack Jr, Kyron Womack and Edward G. Walden V; great nephews Zahmire Adams, Raphael (Deon)Williams, Zakai Adams, Zahreese Adams and great niece Dar’eyona Corbett; a host of cousin’s family and friends and a long-time special friend Ebony Holden.
