SERVICE DETAILS
Sally M. Mack, 98, of Asbury Park, passed away on Friday, April 19, 2024.
She was born in Neptune, NJ on March 11, 1926, to C. Nixon and Mother Willow Murphy. Sally was married to the late Charles S. Mack. She was a lifelong resident of Asbury Park and attended Victory Tabernacle House of Prayer in Asbury Park, under the leadership of Bishop Dennis Carlisle. Sally loved the Lord and gave her life to Christ at 21 years of age. She was filled with the Holy Spirit at a very young age and her life was centered around church activities serving locally, nationally, and abroad. Sally faithfully served as Pastor Assistant, Pastor, Elder, and Evangelist. She shared her gift of healing with many. The joy of the Lord was truly her strength. Hallelujah!
Sally attended the Neptune School System and worked at Centra State Medical Center in Freehold, NJ for most of her adult life. She held positions in medical services sterilizing instruments, and in the emergency room doing patient observation. Later in life Sally provided Home Health services through several agencies. Sally also had a love for crabs and fine dining. Yes, we all know she loved to eat! The only thing she turned down was her collar.
Sally is predeceased by her two sisters Matilda Bell and Cornelia Murphy, her two brothers Alex Murphy and Samuel Murphy, her daughter Theresa Hasty, her son Charlton Mack and her grandson Marcus Morgan.
She leaves to mourn her brother, TC Murphy; daughter Deborah Mack; her beloved grandsons Richard Morgan, Charlton Morgan, Ajamu Mack, Joseph Mack and Daniel Mack; granddaughters Annette James (husband, Eric) Sonja Mack, Tyhesha Mack and LaNayia Hasty; her great grandchildren Karla, Todd (wife, Nya) Kyle, Tavonna, Philip, Cassey, Keynin, RuShaun, Jashawn, Sakeah, Nadir, Kasahn and Kahlee as well as a host of great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
