She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially with her loving grandchildren and their friends and hosting her backyard barbeques. She would also enjoy a good card game whether it was Bid Whist (her favorite), Pokeno, Spades or Poker and you knew whenever you sat down at the table with her you better bring your “A” game.
Shirley is predeceased by her parents Frederick and Olivia Glover; Husband Arrie Finley Jr.; two sons Kevin & David Finley; sisters Lillian Roberts, Alma, and Candice Glover; brothers Fred Jr. and Jeffrey Glover, Ronald and Seymour Smith.
Shirley leaves behind to honor and cherish her loving memory two sons Arrie Finley III and Derek (Doreen); daughters Stephanie, Sharon and Michele Finley, and Lisa Postell (Eddie Jr.); one daughter in love Doreen Z. Calhoun-Finley; 26 grandchildren and 49 great grandchildren.
She is also survived by her siblings: Lorraine Manning and Doris Thomas, Marsha, Valerie, Pam, Felicia and Ellen; sisters-in-law Janet Wilson, Emma Yelverton, Jacqueline Waller, Gwendolyn Alexander, and a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
She was a devoted wife, mother, sister, aunt, and grandmother. Her caring and loving spirit will be missed.
