OBITUARY
SERVICE DETAILS
Stacey Jean Taylor was born and raised in Long Branch, New Jersey, where she attended and graduated from Long Branch High School. She was a devoted daughter, sister, aunt, and a compassionate caregiver whose life’s work centered on serving children and families.
While residing at Fort Jackson in South Carolina, she served as a Youth Care Provider, offering guidance, protection, and nurturing care to the military children of the installation. After returning to Long Branch, she continued her calling by working as a childcare provider within the city’s school system, where she provided life changing care and support to elementary school aged children. Her dedication to some of the most vulnerable children earned her frequent recognition and appreciation from parents, students and staff alike.
She leaves to cherish her memory her mother, Murphy Jean Stephens; her father, Charles Taylor; her brother, Charles Taylor Jr.; and her sister, Dr. Taylor Daniela Elyse Stephens. She is also survived by her nephews, Joseph Richard Daniels, Andrew J Stephens Jr., De’Shawn Jayce Stephens, and Owen Jamir Taylor, and her niece, Theresa Elizabeth Jean Taylor, along with a host of loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family.
She will be remembered for her kindness, patience, and unwavering commitment to the children she served. Her legacy of love and service will continue to live on in the many lives she touched.
