William Walter Payne II, affectionately known as "Beaver" by his family and friends, age 77 of Red Bank, NJ, passed away on Saturday, August 22nd.
William will be remembered for his quick wit and sense of humor, and he ability to bring a smile to the face of anyone he came across.
William graduated from Monmouth Regional High School where he excelled in both baseball and basketball. He worked for Walls Lincoln and Mercury for many years as an auto detailer, a job he took great pride in.
William is preceded in death by his father, William Walter Payne Sr., his mother Marie Goins and stepfather Leonard Goins.
William is survived by his older sister Judy Payne, younger brother Eugene Goins (Barbara), younger sister Lucille Tillman, his two sons Marcus and William Abel (Sanaa), his grandchildren as well as a host of nieces, nephews and cousins by whom he was deeply loved.
