Lawrence Clinton Keyes, 95 of Atlantic Highlands, NJ passed away on Tuesday, September 1, 2026 at home. He was born on February 26, 1931 to Lillian Belle Keyes and Leon J. Keyes Sr. in Navesink, NJ (Middletown Township).
Lawrence was a graduate of Middletown High School. After graduating he served his country in the US Army and received an Honorable Discharge. Lawrence earned his Radio Telephone Operator License. He later worked at Electronics Associates Inc. for more than 40 years.
Lawrence married Charlotte Vail of Atlantic Highlands, NJ on May 3, 1958. They welcomed a daughter Valerie Arlene.
Lawrence enjoyed building televisions from the Health Kit company. His work with computers made him an eager and early buyer of his first of many home computers. He also loved traveling with dear friends, as well as attending family barbeques.
He is predeceased by his parents Leon and Lillian Keyes, three brothers Leon, Edward (88) and George, two sisters Juanita Steward and Lillian Cherry.
Left to cherish his memories are his beloved wife Charlotte, Atlantic Highlands, NJ; daughter Valerie Edwards, Atlantic Highlands, NJ as well as a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
