Mary Louise Bowles age 84, born November 29, 1941, at Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch, New Jersey passed away on May 14, 2026, at Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch, New Jersey.
Mary was a longtime resident of Long Branch, NJ, and was raised in the Pine Brook area of Tinton Falls. She was a very creative homemaker, who celebrated her family’s heritage and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Mary was a mother of four children three sons and a daughter.
She is predeceased by her parents, John “Pete” Bowles (Sept.,1989) and Desmore Rose Berry Bowles (April, 1998), two brothers, Roy Nelson Bowles (May 2007) and Frederick Louis Bowles (Nov.2021), sons Michael Anthony Bowles Sr. (predeceased October 2010) and Walter Bowles (predeceased January 2018) both of Long Branch, NJ, and grandson Christopher Michael Bowles (Oct. 2007).
She is survived by five sisters Gloria Bowles Morgan, Rosetta Bowles Bass, Clara Bowles Palmer, Hazel Bowles Thompson and Lucille Bowles Perkins; son Bryan Edsal Bowles Sr., Farmville, VA, and daughter Kimberly O. Crosby, West Long Branch, NJ.
She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and a host of cousins, nieces, and nephews.
