Stella Louise Johnson was born in Neptune, New Jersey on October 18, 1945 to the late Leeroy and Margaret (Hundley) Johnson and entered eternal life on Wednesday, July 22, 2026 at Riverview Medical Center.
Stella attended the Red Bank Public School System. She was a lifelong resident of Red Bank.
Stella was employed at Lily Tulip, Holmdel for ten years and retired from Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank after twenty-five years of service where she provided loving care to all her patients. She later was employed by the Boro of Red Bank as a Crossing Guard for almost fourteen years until her untimely passing. She will truly be missed by all on her corner as she became a fixture there.
Stella was known for her stern yet keen and witty sense of humor. She loved life and lived it the fullest, always on the go. She had great love for her family, especially her grandkids. They were her life.
Stella is predeceased by her parents, Leeroy and Margaret (Hundley) Johnson; two sisters, Charlotte Williams and Vanessa Johnson, and loving grandson Vincent Atkinson.
Stella leaves to honor a lifetime of memories: Daughters, Margaret (Derrick) Williams, Hope Lewis (Eliot) Ramos and Ebony Johnson; Sisters, Brenda Johnson and Margie Elzie; Grandsons, Lamont Atkinson, Eliot Ramos Jr and Isais Ramos;
Great grand-daughters, Amonyai, Zai’nay, Lei’ya and Lei’ani. Bonus grandkids Misaida Ramos, Eliot Carrero, Jaiden Reevey and Journee Johnson and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
