Adell Crumpler passed away on Monday, October 21, 2019.  Adell was a long time resident of Neptune, NJ, before moving to Asbury Park.  She was born to the late Elliott Ray Crumpler and Sarah Randolph Crumpler.

Adell graduated from Neptune High School and after high school graduation she continued her education at Shaw University in Raleigh, NC and received her Bachelor's degree in Sociology.  She grew up attending Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church and served in the church choir.  Later Adell returned to her roots and was an active member on Mt. Pisgah's nurse's auxillary and the food ministry.

She was employed by the Division of Youth and Family Services in East Orange, NJ as a case manager.  She moved back to Neptune, NJ to work for Jersey Shore Addiction Center as a Counselor.  Adell also worked at Madison Nursing Home in Matawan, NJ until her health started to fail.

Adell opened her home for respite care for many years.  You could also find her doing her favorite pastime, and that would be shopping and traveling.  Adell's other passion was her home.  She loved her home and was very particular in decorating and adding new things.

She leaves to cherish her memory, two sisters Caroline Zimmerman (Joseph) and Jacqueline Palmer; a brother Elliott R. Crumpler Jr.; nieces Erica Crumpler, Jayden Foster, Brianna Crumpler and Mariah Brunson; nephews Kevin Crumpler, Markus Palmer, Isaiah Walton, Idris Brunson, Amare Palmer and Jayce Crumpler; her aunt Bertie Baity and other relatives and friends.
