Alice Miller-11-5-2021

Alice E. Miller affectionately known by her loved ones as "Jeanie," entered eternal peace October 25th, 2021, surrounded by her loved ones in Brick Township, NJ. Born November 4, 1937 to Alice and George Jefferies in Long Branch, NJ, Jeanie attended Long Branch Public School System. She later started a lengthy career at PVC Container Corporation for 19 years until retirement. 

Jeanie enjoyed spending time with her family, including her grandchildren and great-grandson, who referred to her as “Nana,” and were the highlight of her life. Those who knew Jeanie knew she had a strong passion for “oldies” music, some of her favorite music artist included Phyllis Hyman, Anita Baker and Diana Ross. Her past time would include catching up on her soap operas especially “General Hospital,” reading books and a love for turtles.

Jeanie was predeceased by her husband Joseph L. Miller, her brothers William “Billy” Lawrence and John “Big Junie” Snell Jr.  

Jeanie leaves to cherish her memory her sisters Barbara Davis of Manchester, NJ and Patricia (Pat) Staten; her devoted daughter Barbara Miller of Brick, NJ; son Michael Mills of Eatontown; granddaughters Justice Winston of Brick, Diamond Slade (Elijah) of Fayetteville, NC and Sha’kaila Mills of Keansburg; grandsons Jacari Rogers and Michael Mills Jr. of Asbury Park, NJ; one great-grandson Adonis, of Brick, NJ as well as a close niece Sahar Snell of Jonesboro, GA; Godson Jevan Keith Patterson of Greensboro, NC and a host of nieces, nephews, close cousins, and friends who will miss her dearly.
