Barbara Dotts, 74 of Asbury Park, NJ passed away on Monday, June 28, 2021. She was born on March 9, 1947, in Long Branch Memorial Hospital, to Ruth and William Dotts. She grew up attending Calvary Baptist Church with her family. She attended Red Bank public schools.
She worked for more than 30 years at various cleaners in the Monmouth County area, including Uptown Cleaners in Long Branch for 25 years.
Barbara was known to greatly enjoy spending time with her family and friends. She always had a smile on her face accentuating her rosy cheeks!
Barbara leaves to mourn her children Dorothy Celestin of East Orange, Jason Dotts and James Dotts both of Long Branch; sisters Margaret Laporte of Neptune, Pauline Laws and Phyllis Shomo both of Long Branch; brother Philip Dotts of Long Branch as well as her grandchildren Ebony Dotts, Tiarrah Dotts, Qualek Dotts, J'Son Dotts, Jahki Dotts, Daryl Dotts, Cyrus Dotts and great-grandchildren along with a host of nieces, nephews, friends and extended family.
