Brenda Jackson-7-1-2022

Brenda Jackson was called to her heavenly home on June 24, 2022. She was born on June 16, 1955 to the late Willie Sr. and Esther Cox in Greenville, NC. She moved to Long Branch, NJ at the 7 where she was a lifelong resident. In 1993 she met the love of her life Bennie “Malik" Jackson. Brenda was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She loved spending time with her family. Our lives were brightened by knowing and loving the vivacious Brenda, known as the life of the party.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her daughter Rhasheda Morgan, brothers Willie Cox Jr., Abdur R. Wali Sr., Noah Henderson Cox (Benzina), Luther Cannon Cox (Lee), sisters Ida Ruth Daniels & Carolyn Tyler.

She is survived by her Daughters Naimah Durant (James) Malikah Andrews (Allan) Tyshana Andrews (Keith) and Ivanna Andrews; her sons Richard Henderson and Dalvin Cox Andrews all of Long Branch, NJ; grandchildren Kahlil and Nyasia Campbell, Zyaire, Aimya, & Iyana Boykin, April King, Diamond Andrews, Mustafa Jr., Mustafa “Fage”, Maxwell, Makayla and Henry Meyers, James Durant Jr. all of Long Branch, NJ;  brothers Arthur Ray Cox (Julene) of Greenville, NJ, Tim Cox (Faith) of Long Branch, NJ, Pastor Al Anderson (Kerry) of Raeford, NC; sisters Annie and Mary Cox of Long Branch, NJ;  sister-in-laws Jamilah Wali and Betty Cox of New Heaven, CT; Ira Gardner and Zan Brower of Palm Bay Florida; brothers-in-laws Aulander Daniels Sr  and Rodney Tyler of Long Branch, NJ and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
