SERVICE DETAILS
Charles Louis Perry Sr., 86 formerly of Newark, NJ by way of Belleville, NJ and recently of Virginia transcended on Wednesday January 1, 2020 at Alder Center Capitol Caring Hospice in Aldie, Virginia.
Charles attended Belleville High School and shortly after served our country in the United States Army (Armed Cav) from 1950-1954, where he received an honorable discharge. Charles was also a proud member of the Masonic Order and a Brother of Teamsters Local #641. Charles held various jobs in his life, he was a retiree of Acme warehouse and a Black Seal boiler operator for the Newark Public School system.
Charles lived a full life, rich in hard work, service, true friendships, good friends, good deeds and never hurt anyone along the way.
Charles is preceded in death by his beloved parents William and Averlee Perry; 5 brothers Buddy, George, Harry, Elijah and Earl; 4 sisters Cordelia, Marie, Rosemary and Emma.
He leaves to cherish his memories Charles L. Perry II, William Williams; stepchildren Elouise, Arthur, Mary, Willie, Carol and Oscar; grandchildren Charles L. Perry III, Christine Perry, Charlotte Perry, Andrew Humphrey and Antoine Hinton; great-grandchildren Tay'Sir and Cairo Hinton and a grand host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends
