SERVICE DETAILS
Curtis Perkins affectionately known as "Perk," 81 of Long Branch, NJ passed away on Friday, January 13, 2023 at home surrounded by his family.
Curtis was born in Live Oak, Florida to the late Mr. Thomas Perkins and Ms. Alice Keys. He moved to Red Bank, NJ in 1953 where he attended Red Bank public schools. Curtis began his work career at Kinkos and for Ford Motor Company where he worked for 37 years.
He was a loving husband, amazing dad and caring grandpa. Curtis will be missed by many. His greatest joy came from spending time with his family, watching TV and keeping his lawn perfectly manicured.
Curtis is predeceased by his parents Thomas Perkins and Alice Keys, his brother Jason Perkins and his grandsons Kirk Bowles Jr. and Lamar Perkins.
He leaves to celebrate and cherish his memories with his loving and devoted wife of 60 years Lucille Perkins; his children Curtis Perkins Sr. of Matawan, Robert Perkins (Sharon) of Georgia, Lovonne Fitzpatrick (Melvin) of Neptune, Katrina Bowles of Long Branch and Kirk Bowles of Long Branch; grandchildren Donnell, Tion, Raven, Monique, Kobe, Kyle and Imani; 12 adoring great grand-children; siblings Elijah Perkins, Elizabeth Perkins, Edith White (Roland) and Charmayne Austin (Bill); along with many nieces, nephews, extended family and close friends.
