Dion Joseph Harrell 54, was born to the late Diane Harrell and Joseph Kershaw on July 15, 1966 in Neptune, NJ. Dion transitioned from this life on Friday, January 15, 2021 in Long Branch, NJ.
During his lifetime, Dion worked at NJ Transit, Ocean Place Resort & Spa, a carwash and a rehabilitation center. Dion loved the freedom of bicycling, fishing and playing basketball.
Dion is predeceased by his grandparents Fred and Lucy Harrell and his parents Joseph Kershaw and Diane Harrell.
He is survived by 2 daughters Kyhallista Johnson and Malaysia Rose; 3 grandchildren Jaden Perry, Jyeaisa Rose and Diamond Lee; sister Lachristie Harrell, brothers Jamy Harrell, Kevin Kershaw, Terrance and Lamar Herod, sister-in-law Kristine Harrell; best friends and friends Douglas Jackson and Joseph Marshall, Daniel and Tyrone Davis; most respected person/cousin Brian Brodie and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

I will miss sitting a talking with Dion whenever I visited cousin Donna. Gone too soon. R.I.P. friend.
