Gwendolyn “Jackie” Marie Everett passed away on October 6, 2026 in Long Branch, New Jersey at the age of 86. She was born to the late Dorothy Stafford Boyd and the late Jake Register on April 24, 1940 in Valdosta, Georgia. Gwendolyn graduated from Lowndes High School in 1957 in Valdosta, GA.
Gwendolyn moved to New Jersey in 1957. She became a member of Bibleway Church for over 50 years. She was also employed at Artlin Mills for 40 years. She was known to everyone as “Nana” or “Ms. Jackie.” If you knew her, you also knew that Nana/Ms. Jackie would tell you like it is, but she would also help you in any way she could.
She is predeceased by her mother Dorothy Stafford Boyd and her father Jake Register. She is survived by 3 children, William Belchie (Diane) of Atlanta, GA, Alicia Everett of Long Branch, NJ and Tonya Everett of Keansburg, NJ; 5 grandchildren, Mark Belchie of Atlanta, GA, Khiry Jackson of Long Branch, NJ, Joscil Jackson of Long Branch, NJ Aniya Blair of Fredericksburg, VA, and Iyahnna Blair of Keansburg, NJ; 5 great grandchildren, Journee Jackson, Avianna Jackson, Alylah Jackson, Alana Walker and Dominic Walker as well as a host of loving family and friends.
