INTERMENT
Private

Johnny Jermaine Wright 42, of Long Branch transitioned to his heavenly home on Saturday December 14, 2019.  He was born and raised in Red Bank and Long Branch, NJ.  He attended the Long Branch school system.

Johnny was an employee of the Monmouth Park Race Track since 2014.  As a kid Johnny loved cars.  As he grew into an adult, his love for cars got greater.  He loved sports cars of all types and could describe the differences in the various types of cars.

Johnny was a person of character who would have an entire room laughing at his jokes & pranks of all kinds.  "Boogie," as he was affectionately known, was one of the most kind and generous souls you could want to meet.  There were days when he had given the shirt off his back to someone in need.  Johnny had a love for animals, mainly cats and birds.  He also loved family outings and adored the ocean.  He spent as much time as he could looking into the ocean's view.  Johnny was a person of love.  If you ever came into his life you just knew you were loved.

Johnny is predeceased by his son Ty'John Romello Wright, his father TeQuesta Cannon Sr. and a special uncle Bim.

Johnny was a true devoted father and grandfather who leaves to cherish his beautiful memory his loving wife of 15 unconditional years of love Tyheisha Wright of Long Branch; his daughters Jhanni Wright of Long Branch and daughter Ky'Era Pryor of Cliffwood; stepson Myeson Pennington Jr. of Long Branch; son Jon Meek (Georgie) Wright of Keansburg; his mother Charlene Wright of Long Branch; brothers Christopher Hale of Long Branch, TaQuesta Cannon Jr. (Tokela) of Georgia; sisters Amie Cannon-Smith (Lonny) and Rochelle Cannon both of Georgia; a beautiful granddaughter Karter Michelle Pennington of Louisiana as well as host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews and the special love he had for his in laws which was more as family.

Johnny will be missed but his love will always remain in our hearts.
