Private

Leon Christopher Reeves, 67 of Mercerville, NJ concluded his earthly journey on January 22, 2024. He was born on October 18, 1957, in Long Branch, NJ. Chris was a man of honor and dedication, remembered for his loyal heart and spirited character. Prior to his passing, Christopher was led to except Jesus Christ as his Lord and savior by his loving grandson Quan Omar Reeves.

Chris’ formative years were spent at Long Branch High School before he went on to serve his country in the United States Army. His post military career was spent in service at the Veterans Administration in Lyons, NJ where he worked in the Housekeeping Department until his well-earned retirement.

Heaven has welcomed Chris to join his father Avan ‘Bobo’ Reeves, mother Joan Washington, Grandmother Jessie Reeves, brother Craig Reeves and son Quan Hassan Reeves, who all preceded him in passing.

Chris is warmly remembered by his sister Kimberly Reeves Henderson of Houston, TX. His legacy lives on through his adored children, Christina Mancle, Christopher Mancle, both of Houston, TX and Bianca Reeves of Paterson, NJ. His role as a grandfather was one, he relished, and he will be dearly missed by his grandchildren Quan Omar Reeves, Sheila Reeves, Dorian Mancle, Donovan Mancle, Joc’Keyvise Banks, Khodi Reeves, Khloi Mccrae. Chris also leaves behind a multitude of loving family and friends.
