Mabel J. Lang passed away peacefully on January 26, 2021.  She was born in Long Branch, NJ but grew up in Red Bank.  After graduating from Red Bank High School, Mabel moved to Southern California where she lived for many years before returning to New Jersey.

Mabel's life exemplified Excellence.  Her ability to organize and strategize led her to have a successful career in the Administrative field at corporations like Sparrow Records and Bell Laboratories.  Mabel will always be remembered for her vivacious laugh, beautiful smile and caring heart.  Mable loved to talk with people and would help anyone who had a need, but most of all she loved the Lord.  We well miss Mabel dearly, but we know God loves her best.

Mabel was predeceased by her parents Lois O. and Frederick V. Boyd; sister Lois Boyd Jr.; brother John W. Boyd and brother-in-law Alfred Bennett.

She is survived by her loving sisters Carol (Jerry) Russell, Elaine and Minnie Boyd, Josephine Bennett and Theresa Ominiabohs; brothers Frederick (Gail) Boyd and Louis Boyd; sister-in-law Jacqueline Boyd; stepdaughters Denise Deeley and Cherron Lang; grandchildren Joey, Ariel and Amber Lang; special nephew Imayemem Ominiabohs; special great nephew Heron Boyd; special great nieces Samyah and Sophia Boyd and Nel-lecia Gomez; goddaughters Rashida Scott-Cruz, Natashia Scott, Aja Scott, Nariko Scott and a host of relatives and friends.

    Mabel was a gentle soft spoken person with Big Heart, and she loved the Lord and her Family, we were neighbors and she was my “Cousin as well”, I will surely miss our talks and laughs that we had, May your journey back home be peaceful because your work here as been done with grace and dignity. You will be missed, to The Lang and Boyd Families, our sincere condolences and prayers go out to all.
