Marc "Algieron" Pines was born March 30, 1974 in Red Bank, NJ to the late Elaine Pines-Platts and Albert P. Ashton.  He departed his earthly life on Saturday March 16, 2019 surrounded by his family and friends.

Marc grew up in Red Bank, NJ and was the youngest of four children.  He was educated in the Red Bank school system where he excelled in athletics.  His friends and classmates relied on him to brighten their days with his quick wit and humor.  After graduating, Marc found his passion in restoring vintage cars, Volkswagen being his favorite.  He was involved with many activities such as fishing and crabbing.

Marc was a natural tradesman.  He became the Maintenance Supervisor for River Street Commons, surpassed becoming a licensed HVAC technician and a heavy equipment operator.

Marc was known by many as a loving father, son, brother, uncle and friend.

He is predeceased by his parents Elaine Pines-Platts and Albert P. Ashton and a brother Aaron Pines.

He leaves to mourn his 3 children: daughter Akeira Pines, two sons Algieron Pines and Marc Pines; his sister Kwan Pines; brother Tane Pines; his aunt Christal Pines and uncles Richard Ashton, Carl Ashton and Paul Ashton; his grandmother Annabelle Ashton; a host of aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews as well as his lifelong friends, Tory Malloy and Majeed Hills.
