INTERMENT
Private

Moniku Rene Jefferson 48, or as lovingly referred to as "Que" of Long Branch, NJ departed this earth on May 29, 2021 in the arms of her loved one.  She was a very joyous, vibrant and Sparkling soul.  She had no boundaries on the way she expressed her love to each person she came across.  She had a smile that would light up a room and a laughter that was as loud and raspy as the roaring sea's.

She was born in Kanagawa Ken, Japan to Reiko Jefferson and William Alexander Jefferson September 22, 1972 and raised in Long Branch alongside her baby brother William Jefferson.  Where she has a host of beloved friends that are considered close family.

Que was a graduate of Long Branch High School 1986-1990.  Then she ascended forward to earn a Bachelors of Arts degree at William Paterson University in 1995.  She then earned her Certification as a Dental Hygienist at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in 2004.

Marrying one of the greatest loves of her life in 1999, was a Heavenly Matrimony that her father and family would cherish for years with Kenneth Williams.  This union brought forth a beautiful bouncing baby boy, her first born prince Tajahn Williams.  Then in 2008, she birthed her baby boy Edgar Byrd.

She is preceded in death by her beloved parents, her great aunt and uncles Hattie, Rutchelle, Johnnie and Willie Jefferson of Mississippi and Dallas, Texas.

She leaves to cherish her memories with two loving sons, three nieces Courtney, Ava and Alexa Jefferson; two younger brothers William and Matthew and one eldest brother Alex Ray Jefferson.  She has a host of bonus nieces and nephews by her sister in love Cherish.  She was loved dearly by her best friend Chanta and basically all of Long Branch loved her.

My cousins presents will truly be missed by both family and friends, even though we haven’t seen each other sense we were kids I fondly remember those summers in Mississippi when we had those get together’s during the 4th of July. I will miss her but she will forever be alive in the fond memories that I have, and will always be cherished.
    To my Family:
Keep your heads high, remember the good and not so good times, and cherish them all.
    I Love You Guys.
    Cousin Otis.

I am truly sorry that my Cousin Rene passed. She made people know and feel they mattered! That is the gift given to beautiful souls! Sadly, there are not enough people who value others, which is why she was loved by so many.

To the family I express my sorrow and condolences! To all who are hurting: May the sweet comforting touch of the Holy Spirit console your hearts and give you peace as you all prepare your loved one for eternal rest. Praying for your your entire family. May God’s Grace and Mercy abide upon your family during this challenging and heartfelt time!
